Federation Cup – World Group Play-Off

The Great Britain Ladies team travel to Japan to play their World Group play-off tie in a bid to reach the World Group level for the first time since 1993. Captain Anne Keothavong will lead her team to the Bourbon Beans Dome (indoor hard courts) in Miki City for the tie on April 21-22.
The tie will mark the third encounter between the two teams – they have met just twice before in 1972 and 1985 with both ties going in favour of the Brits.
Miki City is situated in the northwest of Kobe and is the host nation’s first home tie in three years.
