Tremendous tennis and some very close fought matches were present throughout the Avon County “Road to Wimbledon” finals held at Kings Tennis Club in Bristol during the past weekend. This annual tournament is open to those juniors aged 14 & under and who qualified from individual club competitions.
The winners were:
- Boys – Billy Hughes (based at the University of Bath), with the runner-up being Amir Abdulsamad (Rodway Hill)
- Girls – Abigail Matthews (Sodbury), with the runner-up being Nell Harris (University of Bath)
