Applying for a DBS is fairly straight forward. You DO need a quiet space and time to really concentrate on the application. There are many nuances that go unnoticed, so often this means that you can’t get the verification of your documents completed. The system is managed by First Advantage (previously GB Group), not Avon Tennis nor the LTA, and they manage the whole process. All we are able to do at the County Office is verify your documents. We do not have access to your online application and therefore we cannot amend anything for you.
Please read everything really carefully, noting for example: whether the Birth Certificate you have is the original or a copy, if your utility bill has your residential address and is dated within the past 3 months, as these are some of the most common errors.
