A competitive day’s tennis led to a close fought Boys final, between Colston School and Clifton College. Clifton took the first singles rubber, while the second was won by Colston’s in a tense set tie-break. That left the doubles as the last match of the day, to decide the overall winner. Clifton College eventually came out on top to claim the trophy.
The Girls event was also close, but once again, Clifton came out on top with their first and second teams claiming both winners and runners up trophies.
Thanks to partners Brewin Dolphin’s and Clifton College for hosting the event at their sports ground. Players and spectators had a great day out in glorious sunshine with a BBQ lunch thrown in for good measure.
