Avon Tennis extends a warm welcome to Clare Savage into the role of our County Tennis Liaison Coordinator.
Based on recent club feedback when we are told that there is a real need for a proactive role where an individual was responsible for listening, understanding and providing advice to club committees we have created the new position of Tennis Liaison Coordinator.
Clare has now joined to fulfil that role and has a strong tennis background: a club player at Kings Tennis Club (Bristol), a level 2 coaching assistant and, two children who are also keen tennis players.
Clare says “I am really looking forward to visiting clubs to hear how you want to move forward in terms of increasing membership participation, and applying for funds and bursaries for facilities and young coaches. It’s my job to help advise on how Avon Tennis can support your needs. I am here to encourage, support, advise and most of all to listen to clubs across Avon and make sure that everyone is in the loop.“
