AVON COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIPS 2020 What a week! Thank you to everyone for your resilience, patience and tenacity. There were storms, which ended up making venues unsafe to use, clothes being wrung out, new venues found at the click of fingers thanks to Mike Kopacki, Bishop Sutton and Chew Valley, disappointed players without tournaments then Elly Shearman and Kings LTC saved the day! This year keeps on giving.

Maggie and Donna did miraculously well managing crazy circumstances. They had to call everyone to ensure they knew of change of venues and to see if players could attend. We’re grateful that family support was great, ensuring players could compete.

Congratulations to everyone involved for a brilliant community effort. Well done to all winners, only sorry we don’t have photos of everybody, so if you have any we can share please tag us on social media.

Onward and upward for more competitions ahead. Thank you again Maggie and Donna.
