Outstanding tennis from the Ladies and Men’s County teams this weekend as they both topped their respective groups earning promotion the next tier.
The Ladies, captained by Kerris Wagstaff, were in the Wirrall and defeated South Wales, Shropshire and Durham & Cleveland losing only one rubber.
Meanwhile in Newport, Dave Gibbons led the Men to victories over Cumbria and local rivals Gloucestershire. Unfortunately the Isle of Man team withdrew from this years competition.
