Officials are always needed. Highlighted at Wimbledon for their professionalism and concentration, the role is understated. But it’s vital. Without them, tennis competitions wouldn’t happen.

Pictured is Avon’s Victor Prelici, a young umpire who won the County LTA award for Official of the Year.

There’s a whole host of different tennis official roles you can get involved with, including:

  • Line or Chair Umpire
  • Competition Organiser
  • Referee
  • Court Supervisor
