The Avon Tennis League Committee are responsible for the management of the various adult leagues held throughout the year for registered LTA clubs and venues.

Inspired by my children I started to learn tennis as an adult and have been playing now for around 20 years. Initially I played at Kings Tennis Club (Bristol) where I was an active committee member and organised some of the ladies league teams. I currently play at Henleaze. I joined the league committee in 2012 and took over responsibility for dealing with complaints in 2018 and now the role of Chair in 2021.

I joined the League Committee in 2009, and took over from Malcolm Gold as the Results Secretary the following year. I play at Thornbury Lawn Tennis Club and was Ladies Captain and Match Secretary for about 9 years, giving up because my tennis workload was too high during the Summer League season. I have played tennis all my life; I was tennis captain at school!
